Oklahoma and Texas are officially leaving the Big 12.
The two universities announced a joint statement Monday morning announcing their plans to leave the conference.
Texas and Oklahoma will reportedly apply for membership to the SEC.
Texas and Oklahoma have officially announced that they will apply for membership with the SEC and will not renew their grants of media rights with the Big 12 following expiration in 2025, per release.
