The Free Throw Line was Key in Kentucky’s Road Win vs. Tennessee

The Kentucky Wildcats took a significant step in the right direction in their win vs. No. 5 Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena Saturday.

Kentucky’s 63-56 win vs. the first big victory for the Wildcats this season and the first in the Quadrant 1 category.

Success at the free throw line was key in the Wildcat’s win vs. the Vols.

Kentucky cashed in on 22-of-25 free throw attempts for the game, good enough for 88 percent as a team. According to Corey Price of UK Athletics, that mark is tied for the third-best free throw shooting percentage in a true road game during the Calipari era with a minimum of 25 attempts.
