In addition to two scheduled exhibition games, the Kentucky Wildcats will play a third preseason matchup vs. Morehead State. The Wildcats will host the Eagles, who are coached by former Kentucky staff member Preston Spradlin, on October 30th at 7 p.m. The matchup is part of the inaugural “Kentucky Cares Classic”.
The NCAA granted a special waiver for the game to be played and all proceeds will go to Team Rubicon, a non-government 501 (c)(3) organization. Team Rubicon has been providing assistance in Florida and Puerto Rico following the devastating hurricanes and will begin responding to the wildfires in California.
If you want to watch the game, the only way to view it will be in attendance at Rupp Arena, as the game will not be televised. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 20th at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting Ticketmaster.com and calling Ticketmaster at (800)-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Rupp Arena box office. Prices will range from $10 to $100, as all funds will go to the victims impacted by recent disasters.

Season ticket holders and UK students can access tickets via the pre-sale Thursday, October 19th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pre-sale can only be accessed at Tickermaster.com and not the UK Ticket Office. If you are a season ticket holder or student, you will receive an email Thursday morning that will include an offer code and link to purchase the pre-sale.
