Tyler Herro Let Michael Carter-Williams know you don’t mess with the Bucket

Former Kentucky guard Tyler Herro doesn’t lack confidence. Kentucky fans knew that before he stepped foot on campus and it’s not taking Miami Heat fans long to learn the same about the 2019 lottery pick.

During Thursday’s preseason game vs. the Orlando Magic, Herro wasn’t happy about something Michael Carter-Williams did to him while driving to the basket. It appears that MCW stepped on Herro’s foot or the two got tangled up somehow, leading to Herro hitting the deck.

You can see in the video below Herro wasn’t happy and he let him know after drilling a three-pointer on the other end. The two players eventually exchanged words and received technicals.

Moments later, the two mixed it up again and both players were initially ejected. However, after reviewing the play, officials rescinded Herro’s second technical foul and only ejected Williams.

After watching the video, it looked like a lot of nothing but officials weren’t having it in a preseason game. It is good to see Herro not backing down, even when it involves a veteran player.
