Kentucky guard TyTy Washington finally heard his name called in the 2022 NBA Draft Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
After watching most of the first round slip away, the Houston Rockets, via trade from Memphis, selected the Kentucky guard with the No. 29 pick.
Before injuries slowed him down, Washington was one of the most dynamic players in the SEC as a freshman.
Washington averaged 12.5 points and 3.9 assists per game for the Wildcats.
