According to claims made by the police on Monday, hard drives that included unreleased songs by Beyoncé were taken from the rental vehicle that her choreographer was using in Atlanta.
A parking lot located east of the central business district of Atlanta was the location where the alleged theft took place on the evening of July 8th, according to an incident report filed by the state police department.
According to the report, Christopher Grant, the choreographer, reported to the authorities that the trunk window of his Jeep Wagoneer had been damaged, and that two luggage and hard drives containing the music that had not yet been released had been stolen.
Additionally, the hard discs held songs that had been watermarked, film plans for a show, as well as set lists for both the past and the future, according to the source.
At the time of the theft, Grant reportedly told the police that he was with a dancer who was performing for Beyoncé, as stated in the report.
According to the article, the authorities were able to track down a laptop that was taken from the SUV, and they also taken fingerprints from a vehicle that was going while carrying a pair of AirPods that were reportedly taken from the Jeep.
According to the report, the investigation was filmed by cameras located at the entrance of the parking area.
The larceny unit of the police department has secured an arrest warrant for a suspect who has not yet been taken into custody, according to a press statement issued by the department.
