On Sunday at 9:44 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated heat advisory in effect until 10 p.m. for Lower Columbia River, Tualatin Valley, Inner Portland Metro, East Portland Metro, West Central Willamette Valley, East Central Willamette Valley, West Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor, Upper Hood River Valley and Central Columbia River Gorge I-84 Corridor.
“Temperatures between 90 and 98 degrees expected,” explains the weather service. “The hottest day will be Wednesday, with a 30-60% chance of reaching 100 degrees.”
