Corey Evans of Rivals joined the Kentucky Daily podcast Monday to discuss the latest news around Kentucky men’s basketball recruiting.
Over the weekend, Evans change his FutureCast picks for Skyy Clark and Jaden Hardy to North Carolina and UCLA, both previously projected to land at Kentucky. Why the change?
Evans still believes Kentucky is the team to beat with Clark but North Carolina is turning up the heat. Also, the Rivals analyst gives a reclassification scenario that could impact where Clark lands if he chooses to move to the 2021 class and how five-star guard Hunter Sallis plays into that scenario.
Additionally, Evans explains a hurdle Kentucky has to clear with the recruitment of five-star big man Daimion Collins, who was previously recruited by UK assistant Jai Lucas when he was a member of Texas’ coaching staff.
Evans joins the show around the 3:30 mark of the episode below.
