USA Today Sports Updates NCAA Projections

Another day brings with it more change in the latest NCAA tournament projections. USA Today Sports updated their projections for March and the Wildcats are still a No. 5 seed with a trip to San Diego for the first weekend.

The Wildcats remain in the South regional but joining them are two teams from the SEC. Auburn is projected a No. 3 in Nashville and Arkansas a No. 7, also in Nashville.

Kentucky is projected to play New Mexico State in the opening game before most likely playing No. 4 seed Texas Tech in the round of 32. Virginia is the No. 1 seed and Cincinnati is the No. 2.

If Kentucky were to advance beyond the first weekend, the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds will be played in Atlanta, better known as Cat-lanta when the Big Blue Nation is in town.
