It’s an optimistic Sunday because the weather is improving and we’ll be able to enjoy highs in the 60s and 70s in central Indiana for at least a few days. Although there may be a rain or two in the coming days, expect mostly dry weather until the conclusion of the work week.
Today will be cloudy with sun and a brief rain, with a high of 66 degrees. Tonight, a strong upper-level low will move south, accompanied by a cold front that will extend into Ohio Valley. There will be some moisture, but not much.
Expect similar conditions tomorrow, with a high of 72 degrees, which will likely be the warmest day of the week.
The quiet but windy weather will continue until Tuesday. Yes, we could see a few showers squeezed out, but the likelihood is minimal. Winds will gust up to 35 mph, making it feel colder outside.
Wednesday gets us back up to 60 degrees with sunshine, and Thursday and Friday are even warmer, although there is a chance of rain.
Pollen levels in Indiana are high and will remain so throughout the week. Tree pollen is now causing problems for pollen sufferers, with Maple, Poplar, and Juniper being particularly problematic today and throughout the week.
