Kentucky freshman guard TyTy Washington made history in his first start at point guard for the Wildcats vs. Georgia.

Washington moved over to the lead guard spot due to Sahvir Wheeler missing the game after suffering a neck injury at LSU earlier in the week.

Washington was dominant vs. the Bulldogs, dishing out a school-record 17 assists, breaking the previous record held by John Wall (16 assists vs. Hartford in 2009).

In addition to 17 assists, Washington added 17 points of his own. He scored or assisted on 54 of Kentucky’s 92 points in the win.
