Kentucky opened the 2022-23 season with a 95-63 win vs. Howard at Rupp Arena Monday night.
Antonio Reeves led the way for the Wildcats, pouring in 22 points behind a 6-of-12 performance from three-point range.
Sharpshooter CJ Fredrick also added 20 points, connecting on 6-of-9 attempts from the field. Senior forward Jacob Toppin recorded his first career double-double, totaling 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Freshman guard Cason Wallace was stellar in his official collegiate debut, flirting with a triple-double. Wallace totaled 15 points, 8 rebounds, and nine assists in the win.
