Wet Weather Continues Overnight; Tuesday Brings Additional Rain Chances

There is less chance of bad weather in the area this evening and tonight. The area will continue to get a few lingering showers, which will bring much-needed rain to the area. Lows overnight will drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

It’s possible for more scattered showers and storms on Tuesday, but the area will likely be less affected. Once more, the highest point will be in the 70s.

There are even fewer chances of rain on Wednesday; only a few showers are expected. The weather will stay nice and cool in the 70s.

Thursday will have a wider spread of showers and thunderstorms, and highs will stay in the 70s. The overnight lows will stay in the 50s for the rest of the week.

It might rain on Friday, but then it will start to dry out for the weekend. There is still a small chance of showers on Saturday if the storm that is leaving moves out more slowly than expected.

Things look like they will get better by Mother’s Day weekend. On Friday, the high temperature will stay around 70 degrees. On Saturday, it will rise to the low to mid-70s, and by Sunday, it will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Sunday looks like it will be the warmest and driest day of the weekend, making it great for any Mother’s Day plans that take place outside.

By the middle of next week, there may be more chances of rain, and afternoon highs will stay in the 70s.
