Authorities
are investigating after officers found the body of a woman partially submerged in water in
Milwaukie’s
Minthorn North Natural Area.
About 8 p.m. Tuesday, Milwaukie officers responded to a suspicious circumstance call at the 11300 block of Southeast 37th Avenue, police said. When they arrived, they found the woman’s body in the water inside of a wooded area.
Police said the unidentified woman was between the ages of 25 and 35. The Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating her cause of death. Police say it “is not considered suspicious at this time.”
