Everything John Calipari Said Following Kentucky’s Win vs. Louisville

The Kentucky Wildcats picked up their biggest win of the 2019-2020 season Saturday evening at Rupp Arena, a 78-70 overtime victory vs. the No. 3 Louisville Cardinals.

Offensively, Tyrese Maxey led the way for the Wildcats with a game-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-5 from three-point range.

Sophomore guard Immanuel Quickley also stepped up for Kentucky, scoring 18 points. He connected on all eight of his free throw attempts.

The story of the game was junior big man Nick Richards, who put together one of the most impressive second half performances I’ve witnessed in UK history. Richards picked up his fourth foul with 14:30 remaining in the second half. He played the final 20 minutes of the game with four fouls but came up with huge plays to help lead the Cats to victory.

John Calipari had a lot to say about Richards and more in his postgame press conference. You can watch the video below.
