Rick Pitino Tweets about Reed Sheppard during Kentucky Game

Reed Sheppard delivered another special performance for Kentucky, this time against the No. 8 team in the country.

Kentucky cruised to a 95-73 win vs. Miami at Rupp Arena Tuesday night, improving to 6-1 on the season while picking up what will be a Quadrant 1 victory.

Sheppard led the Wildcats with 21 points on 8-of-13-shooting, including 5-of-9 from three-point range.

The UK freshman was so good that Rick Pitino, who coached Reed’s father Jeff at Kentucky, tweeted about him during the game.
