With Governor Andy Beshear’s decision to close dine-in service at restaurants and bars in Kentucky beginning today at 5 p.m. ET., businesses will rely on take out and delivery orders.

Beshear encourages the people of Kentucky to order takeout and delivery during this time to support local businesses.

As part of our duty, we need folks that are out there to be ordering takeout now, to be ordering delivery,” Beshear said. My family is going to commit to do it for at least three meals a week. There are four of us. We need everybody else to do that too. These are important businesses. They employ people throughout our community.

Kentucky coach John Calipari says he and Ellen Calipari will be doing the same and encourages those that can afford it to do so also.

I’m praying everyone is safe & you’re following our governor’s advice,” Calipari wrote on social media. “Respect the strength of this virus, but live without fear. Ellen and I will order from 2 different restaurants every day until this order is lifted. I suggest everyone who could afford it try to do the same. If you don’t feel comfortable picking it up, there are apps that will deliver it to your door!”

Stay safe everyone but please if you can, find a way to support local businesses during this time.
