The Kentucky Wildcats travel to Alabama for an important SEC matchup Saturday night on ESPN.

The Wildcats, who are No. 5 in the AP Poll, are searching for another Quadrant 1 victory to add to their NCAA Tournament resume.

According to Joe Lunardi’s ESPN Bracketology, the Wildcats enter Saturday as the No. 7 overall seed in the projected field, good enough for a No. 2 seed.

Auburn, Gonzaga, Baylor, and Purdue are the projected No. 1 seeds while Arizona, Duke, and UCLA join the Wildcats on the No. 2 line.

Kentucky’s current resume is one of the best in college basketball, considering all four losses currently qualify as Quadrant 1 losses, meaning the Wildcats don’t have a bad loss this season.

In total, the Wildcats have six Quadrant 1 win opportunities remaining before the SEC Tournament, which could significantly improve their resume over the next month.
