Rob Dillingham has put in serious work to improve since he arrived at Kentucky earlier this summer.
Since his arrival in June, the freshman guard had added 17 pounds, increasing his body weight to 172 pounds. Dillingham looks significantly stronger in a transformation photo UK strength coach Braden Welsh posted to Instagram Wednesday.
John Calipari told Jack Pilgrim of KSR and others at his Fantasy Camp over the weekend that Dillingham has gained 13 pounds since GLOBL JAM.
One advantage to playing games in July was that Kentucky could evaluate areas where players needed to improve before the start of the regular season in November. Adding size and strength was at the top of the list for Dillingham, who struggled to finish plays in traffic near the rim.
Dillingham looks like a completely different player below.
