Obi Toppin Congratulates his Brother Jacob on Commitment to Kentucky

Jacob Toppin, a transfer from Rhode Island, announced his commitment to Kentucky via social media Thursday evening.

Toppin, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward, averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in 30 games as a freshman at Rhode Island, including five games in double figures.

The UK commit is the younger brother of former Dayton star, Obi Toppin, who was named Player of the Year in college basketball this season and is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Jacob chose Kentucky over Oregon and Iowa State.

Obi took a moment Thursday to show support for his brothers decision.
