After back-to-back victories vs. rival Louisville and Georgia, the Kentucky Wildcats dropped one spot to No. 17 in the new AP Poll.

After a loss to UCLA, the Wildcats dropped to No. 16 but after a dominating win vs. Louisville and an SEC opener victory vs. Georgia, some movement should have been expected, just in the other direction.

The Wildcats will have chances to climb with quality win opportunities over the next two to three weeks. Next up for Kentucky are road trips to LSU on Wednesday and to No. 23 Tennessee on Saturday. Kentucky will then return to Lexington to face No. 11 Texas A&M on Tuesday, January 9th.

Joining Kentucky in the AP Poll is Texas A&M (No. 11), Arkansas (No. 22), Tennessee (No. 23).
