Kentucky signee Tyler Herro was one of 25 player to be selected to play in the Jordan Brand Classic in April. Fellow UK signee Keldon Johnson was also chosen.

Herro has developed a reputation as a scoring machine for Whitnall High School in Greenfield, Wisconsin, where he is averaging 32.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.3 steals per game.

The 6-5 shooting guard has been a highlight tape since committing to the Wildcats after backing out of his commitment to the home state Wisconsin Badgers, something that led to plenty of criticism from opposing fans.

Herro is shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 43.5 percent from behind the three-point line, where he has knocked down more than 100 long range shots. He’s also scored 40 or more points on eight occasions this season.

ESPN currently ranks Herro the No. 25 player in the 2018 class while 247 Sports has him at No. 32 and Rivals at No. 35.
