Kentucky coach John Calipari met with Kentucky media Tuesday morning to discuss the off-season and where things stand with his team.
The UK coach updated a number of topics, including the health of Iowa transfer C.J. Fredrick.
Fredrick had a minor procedure performed earlier this summer to clean up an old injury.
Calipari says Fredrick hasn’t resumed team activities but he’s hopeful he will start soon.
“CJ has not started,” Calipari said. “My hope is that within the next two weeks he’ll be back on the floor with us.”
Official practice doesn’t begin for a few more weeks and the first regular season game against Duke is still two months away on November 9.
