It appears that the Kentucky Wildcats and Akron Zips have scheduled a three game football series that will begin in 2021 and end in 2024.
FBSchedules.com released an article that included details of the game contract between the two programs. The three game series will include two home games at Kroger Field and one game played at Akron.
The first of three is set for September 18, 2021 at Kroger Field. The two teams will take a year off from the series and play the second game on September, 16, 2023 at InfoCision-Summa Field in Akron. The three game series will conclude with a game at Kroger Field on August 31, 2024.
Reports are that Akron will receive $1.3 million for the matchup in 2021 and $250,000 for the final game of the series in 2024. You can find out more info by reading the original story at the link below. UK has not confirmed the series.
