Kentucky basketball needs a hero and it’s getting one next season when Whitnall High School senior Tyler Herro steps foot on campus. One of the Wildcats biggest needs on this current team is a reliable perimeter threat and a guy who can get buckets consistently.
It’s hard to top his 45-point triple double performance from Friday night but a 34-point night isn’t something to shrug off. The future Wildcat is on a mission in the state of Wisconsin and he’s putting the nation on notice while leading his team down the path to a state championship.
Herro’s night included scoring his 2,000th career point. I’m not sure but I would guess that more than half of those have been scored this season but he missed a lot of time with an injury during his junior season. On the season, Herro has scored 40 or more points eight times.
Herro scores his 2,oooth career point with this bucket.
