Ahmad Wagner can Help Kentucky at Receiver
Kentucky football picked up a commitment from Ahmad Wagner on Tuesday afternoon.
Wagner spent the last three seasons playing basketball at Iowa but he’s no stranger to football. He played one season of high school football at Wayne High School in Ohio and he was so good that Mark Stoops offered him a scholarship and Ohio State showed interest.
Ultimately, Wagner decided to pursue a college basketball career, but he will use the remainder of eligibility to play football in Lexington. In his lone football season, he was named All-State in Ohio after hauling in 58 passes for 1,028 yards and 17 touchdowns.
How good is he? Check out this one-handed catch he made.
