Kentucky improved to 2-0 on the season with an 81-61 victory vs. Texas A&M-Commerce Friday night at Rupp Arena.
The Lions jumped out to an 8-0 start in the opening minutes of the game, forcing John Calipari to call an early timeout. The largest lead for Texas A&M-Commerce was 13 at the 12:22 mark of the first half.
Once they took the lead, the Wildcats never looked back. Next up for Kentucky is a date with No. 1 Kansas in the Champions Classic Tuesday night at the United Center.
