Kentucky added an important piece to its 2024 recruiting class Friday afternoon.
Boogie Fland, a five-star guard according to the 247 Sports Composite, announced his commitment to Kentucky Friday.
Fland chose the Wildcats over Indiana and Alabama. He is rated the No. 20 player in the country and the No. 2 combo guard, according to the 247 Sports Composite which factors in all major national recruiting service rankings.
The 6-foot-2 guard joins Somto Cyril in Kentucky’s 2024 class.
John Calipari turned up the heat on Fland’s recruitment the last couple of months. Since his official visit to Kentucky in mid-September, Calipari made three trips to visit Fland in person.
