Kentucky finished the regular season 7-5 with a 38-31 victory vs. No. 10 Louisville on Saturday afternoon.

After trailing for most of the game, Kentucky used a big second half to win the fifth straight matchup vs. Louisville and keep the Governor’s Cup in Lexington.

Penalties had plagued the Wildcats all season long but Kentucky played a clean 60 minutes of football vs. its rival Saturday.

The Wildcats were called for defensive holding on a play but Louisville declined the penalty. So Kentucky finished the game without a penalty.

For all of those moments this season when Kentucky would commit penalties that frustrated you, the Wildcats picked the perfect time to play clean football.
