Kentucky improved to 3-0 on the season with a 35-3 win vs. Akron at Kroger Field Saturday night, the first game under the lights for the Wildcats this season.

Kentucky fans held their breath in the fourth quarter when quarterback Devin Leary went down with an injury.

The good news for Big Blue Nation is that Leary is fine, according to Mark Stoops during the postgame press conference.

Stoops said the UK quarterback got the wind knocked out of him and that he could have gone back into the game.

Leary completed 16-of-26 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns. His one interception was a cross-up with Dane Key in the third quarter.
